A fairly recent addition to our products is our hand made terracotta floor tiles. We manufacture them in a very similar way to our roof tiles, the best selling size being the 9"x 9"(23cmx23cm) although we do other shapes and sizes too, like our popular brick shaped tile (8.5"x 4")
Being a very good replica for the original Victorian tiles which you can often see in the kitchens, porches and paths of these houses. Like our roof tiles, our floor tiles are made especially to look "old", they look fantastic on the floors of old farmhouse kitchens and in a modern, newly built house.
As they are fired to a very high temperature in our kilns, they can also be used outside, without having the worry of them being frost damaged. Use them on your patio, garden path or in your conservatory. We have even had customers using them as window ledges!
Last year we supplied 200 well known pubs around Britain with our floor tiles and have also made special tiles to match in with the originals on a church floor.
Brick shaped tiles can be used as a border with the smaller ribbon tiles.
The tiles in the above photo are a good example of showing how different sizes of tiles can easily be made into a very superior looking floor. The larger tiles were applied first (always start from the middle, working your way out) then the pretty black and red border, and finally the brick shaped tiles.
A coat or two of our "medium" coloured wax was applied before the tiles were laid, then buffed up to really enhance the natural beauty and quality of the tiles.
You can even create your own design for your floor, which can be fun. Tiles can be laid in all sorts of ways to create optional designs.

8½" x 4" brick tiles £42.00 per square metre.(42 tiles per square metre)
4"x 4" tiles £40.00 per square metre.
Ribbon border tiles (as in picture above) £30.00 per metre.
N.B. The ribbon border is 8.5" wide and 1 metre consists of 18 black oblong tiles, 8 small black squares(4"x 4") and 14 plain triangles. Please bear in mind that we can do any colour combination that you like.
